I can fix things, it just takes a while.

Hooray!

I just fixed my Playstation 2, which has been broken for at least three years. This is a cause for celebration! This is a cause for... Katamari!

Emo levels at 30% Captain

So I just found out that I didn't get into the program I applied to at college, which I guess serves me right for thinking I could get into it when I applied only a week before said program actually started. It still sucks pretty hard though, because I've got, like, a whole year before I can do anything about it again...

Lesson learned, however! Don't apply to programs the week before they start folks! Because ten other people will do it as well and they're bound to like one of them more than you.

On the bright side, I can probably find a better school to suit my interests for next year, so perhaps this is what's meant to be. It will probably involve another grand moving adventure, but I'm up for that. Hooray for positive sides, in any case!

Time to go be less productive.

Adventures of the Virgin Drinker

I can't wait to sleep in my own bed again. Tomorrow. There was a family wedding this weekend (yesterday), so family is in town from BC and sleeping in my room, and the couch in the basement is terribly uncomfortable (I apoligize to everyone who's ever slept over and had to sleep on it). I started sleeping on the floor by the second night, which was marginally better.

The wedding was rather nice. It wasn't over-the-top or drawn out in any way, and the reception was excellent. We stayed in the hotel for the night (again, I got to sleep on a couch. hooray), which was convenient because after eating and drinking and dancing until the wee hours, your room is just an elevator ride away.

I don't normally drink, though, except apparently for at weddings, where some girl or other will slip vodka into my orange juice and away it goes. Except this time it was 7up, but, uh, same difference.

I got tired at one point and tried sneaking towards the elevator, only to be stopped once again by the drink police (also known as my step-aunt)
and forced into getting one last drink. A later attempt at escape was successful, although I still couldn't get to sleep very easily because carbonated drinks always give me terrible stomach problems and the hiccups. :/

Today I learned that the good thing about vodka is that it doesn't give you a hangover easily (or make your breath smell) and that it repels grizzly bears. So hooray for that.

Anywho, I've started thinking about my 20th birthday which is coming up, and I figure I'll have to have some sort of big bash to kick it off. After all, at that point I only have to live my entire life all over again before I'm halfway done! That's something, right?

Gooood Night,

Presenting the blog event of the century zomg

So I had to ask myself, why not get one of those blogs? All (ie, one of) my friends were doing it. And I guess the cool thing to do on the internet is to have opinions about stuff and then write them someplace. I may not have any opinions about things, but at least now I have someplace to write about them if I ever do!

Until then you'll just have to listen to me talk about things what are happening to me.

Like how right now, I've got to clean up my room because someone who isn't me will be staying in it tomorrow and that's the kind of thing one does for such an occasion. I figure the best way to do this is to take all the loose sheets of paper that are laying about (on my desk, under my desk, and I think some of them may actually be composing portions of my desk themselves) and throw them in a box.

I don't really care to organize that much, so I figure as long as all these seemingly important scraps of paper are in one place I should be able to find them when I need to. So that just leaves me with piles of Magic cards and heaps of clothing to clean up somehow. Perhaps... perhaps I need another box?

Another thing what did I today was I finally got around to bagging and tagging all those ponytails I cut off my head a few weeks ago and putting them in an envelope to send to Locks of Love. I hope some little kid enjoys my hair as much as I did! It is very nice hair, which probably looks even better on someone's head.

This is where I end my first blogpost! I hope that you guys maybe enjoyed me writing about myself. Heaven knows I don't really lead an interesting life, but journaling is fun and I sometimes like to write about things! I just don't really write so well, so maybe this will help me work on that. Th-thanks for stopping by, any way!
